S*ProCom² is a new research center at The Cooper Union dedicated to cutting edge research in Signal Processing, Communications, and Computer Engineering. The center offers undergraduates the opportunity to conduct full-scale research projects that reflect the complexity and rigor of their education at Cooper. Many of these projects are continued at the graduate level.
Senior projects (Electrical and Computer Engineering Projects III and IV) are an important part of the Electrical Engineering curriculum at The Cooper Union. It gives students an opportunity to combine semesters of academic study with the practical laboratory experience they have accumulated from design exercises and projects from various courses.
The Center for Signal Processing, Communications and Computer Engineering Research is dedicated to enriching the educational environment at The Cooper Union by providing valuable research experiences in these fields for our students, interwoven with their academic programs, thus preparing them to become vital members of America.s technological leadership and research base. The Center offers Bachelor and Master of Engineering students the opportunity to conduct full-scale multidisciplinary research projects in collaboration with Cooper faculty as well as researchers outside the Cooper community. These projects reflect the depth and rigor of education at The Cooper Union.
